I am blessed to be able to work in a field I’m extremely passionate about. As a LAMFT, my clients often share intimate details about their relationship struggles. Whether clients are dealing with marital conflict, parent/child conflict, parenting struggles, navigating life through divorce, co-parenting following divorce etc, I’m always amazed at the bravery my clients possess to let me into their world. I’m highly empathetic which likely stems from my own struggles navigating the various relationships I’ve had in my life.
I utilize solution focused modalities to assist clients in realizing their goals as well as their inner strengths and resources. Since each client is unique, I also utilize a collaborative approach. As strengths and resources are uncovered, the possibilities in sessions are endless. Some clients have prayed at the end of sessions or asked to listen to an inspiring song together. My clients know that I’m open to anything as long as it’s healthy and productive towards the established therapeutic goals.
When I’m not working, I’m full-time mom navigating my 2 boys ever changing needs. I also enjoy spending time with my fellow mom friends, laughing, being outdoors, listening to K-Love, and family outings. Six Flags is a regular outing for us. While my boys ride the coasters, my husband and I enjoy riding the bench:)
